We are accelerators for business value creation and work closely with your executive and operatiing teams on strategic business improvement initiatives and discretely on divestiture and acquisition initiatives. From an industry perspective, we have significant experience across
multiple industries including Healthcare (i.e. Medical Devices, Medical Information
Technology Providers, Related Technology businesses, and Hospitals), Business Services, Financial Services,
Food Manufacturing, Technology, and E-commerce where we have found tremendous opportunity to help CXOs and investor groups create value. In general, we work with the executive and operating team by focusing on three core objectives.
- Growth Opportunities: GSM works with Executive Teams to facilitate strategic discussions, identify growth alternatives and business improvement initiatives. From a growth by acquisition perspective,we help companies achieve higher growth levels by assessing both organic and acquisition growth strategies and then developing initiatives to implement their strategic plans. In addition, we we work with executives to enhance their unique value proposition by leveraging intellectual
property, distribution networks, innovative business processes, and previously unidentified switching costs.
- Adaptable Strategies: GSM's advisors work closely with management
teams to help them modify their business models so their businesses can adapt to changes from the
market, competitors, and industry regulators. Our approach is unique as we work with Sr.Executives to understand the financial impact to the company's shareholder value, revenue, net income, and cash flow prior to the CXO and Board making large capital committments to Business Transformation initiatives. Often, our approach can help executives improve their ROIC or make the benefits of selling a company clearer.
- Effective Management Teams: GSM's experience has
indicated the quality, determination, and passion of the management
team tends to be the key driver of success when the opportunity for
rapid growth exist and management has demonstrated their ability to
create a viable strategy which can respond to market changes from
customers and competitors. As such we work with Sr. Executives
of established companies and experienced well funded entrepreneurs
to develop an effective management team, management practices, operating models, and to identify qualified executives
for Private Equity Portfolio Companies. To address the immediate needs, GSM provides clients and private equity groups with
experienced "hands on" Sr. Executive talent (i.e. CEO, COO,
CSO, CMO, CFO) on an interim basis to manage complex business challenges
and special situations.
